Since this ACA roll-out I’ve been watching how the Canadians on this website have been baited with insults denegrating their nation.
Have you noticed how it works with you but not with, say, DrC?DrC taunts with the generic “red-necks” and predictably reels in a few indignant responses. But insulting fellow compatriots hasn’t worked so far with him.
Why is that, do you think?
I think it’s easy to rile nationalists; and those nationalists in turn think national insults work on others as well. It confounds them when it doesn’t. Now that makes me laugh.
