You guys are all straining so hard to put lipstick on this pig you’re going to give yourselves hernias. Jon Stewart and his late night cohorts have already beaten it senseless and they are hardly conservative. Obama tried hard for single payer, failed and so he set up ACA as a vehicle to ultimately accomplish that.
It’s absolutely ridiculous that we don’t already have health care, as far back as Nixon they tried to start a national plan and (shock and surprise) Teddy Kennedy killed the plan. With the absurd amount of money we spend on the military we should have Cadillac health care for everyone.
What Obama did to delay the penalties for employees wasn’t illegal, of course, and affects almost no one. The ACA is becoming MORE popular, according to four different polls by four different organizations. So you’ll have to try harder to spread more convincing lies, Harley. So far, it’s apparently not working.
So who doesn’t know that when you call a govt office you are going to have to wait hours on the line? I had the same problem with getting a tax ID to start a new business and even calling didn’t get it done the first time.

The deadline to sign up is Dec 15 to start insurance Jan 1. I have not tried going past the home page yet.
