I’m assuming using the internet is not the only way to enrol one’s self onto this ACA? I’m guessing there are amongst those who’d need this care that are less likely to possess a computer, or even be computer literate.
You must be joking. This was a disaster from the very beginning. We were lied to and all of the supposed benefits were falsified to get it through, and now you want to blame a “Republican leaning firm.” The big lie is that anyone could believe any of the crap we were fed. This was designed to fail from the beginning. That way we can move directly to single payer, which is what the Dems have been after for 75 years.
Becareful what you wish for… This is an incompetent administration using government to get the job done. There is plenty more that can go wrong than just everything.
Any conservatives who consider Jon Stewart to be a “Obamabot” should watch his interview with Ms. Sebilius. It was pretty good. He took her to task.@ Radish - between reporters world wide who wanted to see it, Republicans who wanted to criticize its features, and the people who actually wanted to sign up for insurance, I believe that piece of the “Information superhighway” was as locked up as I-395 in DC where it connects to I-495 and I-95 south. Took me six hours to go seventy miles. State route 1 was equally backed up. Respectfully,C.
The problem with the web site is almost certainly a combination of hiring low bidders who hired incompetents and marginally capable code writers with that the whole thing was designed by a committee of “blind men.” That is, various groups doing the code had little or no connection to other groups doing other parts of the system. When it was finally put together you end up with a mismash of poorly interconnected modules of code that don’t work together. Instead they clash and crash, run slowly due to poor design and have wholes a hacker can fly a 747 through to steal the data..That is almost certainly what happened.
Sure glad Iraq (going back not just 22 years, but 50) never turned into a tangled web, likewise Afghanistan. Oh but those were run by competent conservatives! (right)

I guess their biggest mistake was hiring a Republican-leaning firm to build the web site (CGI Federal).
