Pop love to talk on the phone! whats wrong with that? He never quits! he's been yapping it up for twenty minutes! twenty minutes isn't a long time on a phone call. The guy on the other end dialed the wrong number!

Well, apparently, it must’ve turned into the right number … unless there’s no laughter and conversation on the other side of the phone!…. – In that case, either they are begging or pleading to hang up, and he doesn’t hear, or they already did hang up, and he doesn’t even notice!…

One time I looked up a former classmate in the phonebook, and got somebody else by the same name. We talked for quite a while, as he frequently got calls for this person, and asked me where we went to school. “Oh, yes, I went there, too” and so forth.

Reminds me of when my husband answered a wrong number call and thought it was his brother and led him along for 20 minutes. Poor guy was trying to call a resort for reservations. Oy!

My husband does this in real life. He also made friends with the “wrong number” and now gets actual calls from that person.
