my mom once told me that it is delicious when made right and I made the mistake of saying “them you must not be making it right then because it tastes terrible” it was the only time I was thankful for going to bed w/o supper!
I think we all had our own editorials about mom’s cooking. My mom would say, "eat it, it’s good(mmm-mm), so I said, “It’s good, you eat it”(I was 3) My daughter was balking at the food, my wife said, “I fix this often, you have always eaten it before”. My daughter said, “and every time you fix it, I don’t like it”.It is a good thing they are cute, or they would never have made it to first grade.

The liver is a filter. I’ve seen a lot of filters from a lot of things, the only thing they were good for was throwing out.
