Snidely Whiplash was the villain in Dudley Do-right cartoons. Dudley was RCMP, ergo Snidely must be Canadian. Not meant to be a put-down, neighbor, just questionable taste. But politics never taste good.

Wrong again, Tigger. 144 Republicans in the house voted AGAINST the agreement, to let the government and all US Treasury bonds fail. They are worse than Snidely Whiplash, who at least had Pretty Nell in mind (the Tea Party just wanted to destroy government, they had no particular goal in mind other than a childish tantrum).
