Morning, Vagabonds. 41 degrees. Not freezing, but close enough in my books.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

    40’s today and sunny.

Went to the Rheumatologist yesterday and got the results of all the lab work that was done when I was in the hospital three weeks ago.I do not have Rheumatoid Arthritis or Lupus. I have what they call Pseudo Gout. Phony gout. What causes it, he didn’t say. It is a chronic condition, meaning that it can flair up at any time or never happen again. What he is doing is to give me a supply of Prednisone to have on hand, and at the first sign of pain, to take a certain number of pills before I do any thing else. Then call him. I don’t like having to take any more pills than I have to, but I can live with this. PTL

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Mark, congratulations on the diagnosis. It isn’t good, but some of the things that were ruled out are so much worse!

Overcast and 57 at the moment. Looks like a jacket day (only the second one so far this season).

    Good Morning, Village,

It was 55 yesterday, and that Alberta Clipper moseyed on down and it was 14 during the night, and a blanket of white about 2 inches deep! WOW! This snow might be the sticking kind, and not melt until Spring. (we’ll see)

I’m not sure if y’all saw my late post yesterday, but my cancer doctor check up was FANTASTIC!!! All great results on my blood work. And, according to his schedule, I have now graduated to every 6 month check ups! Then, this Friday I go and have my “port” removed…..don’t need it any more! WOO HOO!

Woodworker, it sure sounds like you had great results yesterday too! Congrats!
