No one can hear all of the Jazz, because more of the Jazz is being created while you’re listening to the previously created Jazz.

Living in a hillbilly region surrounded by trees & ignorant inbred power & my own paucity of funds, I am spared the ability to binge view. . ..

If my first exposure to jazz was the Ken Burns documentary, I might not have liked it either.

I don’t dislike jazz, it’s just too formless to have anything to “grab onto”, so to speak. “Take Five” by Dave Brubeck, however, is not formless. There’s a definite melody there.

My wife just watched the whole Madmen series front to back. Needless to say, not in one sitting, she did get up to go to the bathroom occasionally…

2 things, 1st, Kenny G is highly underrated, and 2nd, The Music of Linus and Lucy is awesome.

I’ve watched just enough of Ken Burns’ documentaries to know that I don’t like Ken Burns’ documentaries. There is more good jazz than bad jazz, but there less good rap than bad rap.
