Watching all the “TEA party types” and “sagebrush rebels”, now whining about the millions of dollars their SUBSIDIZED economies are losing because of Park Service, or Public Land “shutdowns”, is pretty bloody hilarious! They’ve been mooching off the federal largesse for decades, and the minute the impacts hit THEM, they’re screaming bloody murder!! Ah, right, that “evil government”, that only grants “bennies” to the poor and those “too lazy to work”, doesn’t benefit them at all!!

    RIGHT!

Having observed the oil, mineral, timber, and ranching industries, as well as tourism, receive subsidies from the feds for those decades, and at the same time seeing the Republicans since Reagan condemn and try to destroy these same resource agencies (Doc Hatfield at House Natural Resources Committee is still working hard to destroy them!) it isn’t quite so “hilarious”, it’s pretty disgusting.

“The TEA Party submitted a bill that Reid and Obama rejected. Reality is not a part of the left’s universe.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.Apparently. it’d not part of the right’suniverse. either.
