And, if the Democrats hadn’t scribbled all over the page…?

I mean really… Which party howls for minority voting districts? Which party wants voter registration to be without identification, same day, and no verification at the polls? Which party wants more and easier mail in balloting?

Seems to me the party of gerrymander is the Democrats first and foremost.

Enoki is correct. This is a 2014 election Democrat plan that is being aided and abetted by the Rino GOP and it is not “ideological purity” it is traditional Republican PRINCIPLES. Cruz and Lee and the Tea Party are fighting for Principles in the GOP.-This government shutdown was 100% the Democrat Senate’s plan to stonewall and bulldoze the spineless GOP like Speaker Boehner into caving by the wild MSM name-calling and blaming the GOP. I wish Boehner had stood firm and refused to fund the 2014 CR until the Democrats were peppered by the majority of the public with calls and emails and were the ones who caved. But Rino GOP know how to snatch Failure from the Jaws of Victory!

I might have felt sorry for them had they not walked into this. They hoped to take advantage of the Tea Party — pretending it was a “national movement” of “true Americans,” when in fact it is just old, white, racist Republicans well funded by business interests who want their taxes lowered, not yours. And now the nutjobs they supported are trying to destroy the country. If we go into default, the cost of our national debt will go WAY WAY up, because we won’t be able to get the same interest rates. Last time, even the discussion of default raised our costs. So they aren’t “fiscally responsible,” they aren’t helping the nation, and they aren’t acting in a sane and adult way. So the GOP has no one to thank for this but themselves.I am beginning to think it will go the way of the Whigs. And should.
