I see more and more the term “ACA” is being used instead of “Obamacare.” I guess people reacted positively to "Affordable Care Act, " having been conditioned to react negatively to “Obamacare.” So to get the desired response, some are calling it “ACA,” which sounds somewhat insidious. O tempora! O mores!

Looks like the cartoon Nick Andersen did only the opposite. It’s sort of like the joke about two guys claiming to be Jesus… You know one of them HAS to be lying…Given Obama’s track record I pick him. Ramirez is right.

Finally, somebody in the press tells it like it is.

Obama refuses to even sit down to negotiate but the American people who are dependent on the dole out from the government don’t want to hear that they are going to have to become responsible for themselves so instead they buy into the ideal that only Republicans are being unreasonable.

Dem’s requested 18 meeting in previous 6 months, Cruz killed all. Debt, House makes all Tax & Spending bills, Pres. has none, did any of you finish High School & learn about Civic’s? Texan’s exempted.

Just who exactly keeps saying “There’s nothing to negotiate on…”?I listen to Reid and Obama and all I hear is “Give me a trillion dollars and a helicopter or the economy gets it!” The two sound like a bank robber hostage situation where they are the hostage takers.

ACA creates a disaster unfolding in the both the economy of this country (1/6 is healthcare) and the healthcare industry. Boehner is trying to save our future (from a European style one-payer healthcare) and our children’s future economy. It is called liberty in the constitution. It is what our forefathers fought for, some died for, and we have been given by our constitution and God-given rights… LIBERTY!

Oops! Looks like the Koch Brothers are abandoning the Tea Party government shutdown strategy and pulling funding. In addition, Chamber of Commerce now actually donating to Republican opponents of shutdown.House extremists (and their cheerleaders commenting here) can go back to whining about Benghazi now.

Money is the only thing that talks to libs.Amazingly, money does not seem to be talking to many of the Tea Party members of Congress. Their campaigns were financed by the Koch Brothers & the US Chamber of Commerce. Now that the Tea Party crew has decided that the nation must be sacrificed in order to save our country (what?), their donors are deserting them. The ACA is law. A fully funded law, in fact. The only reason to delay & defund the ACA is to guarantee that it will fail. Rather than have the courage of their convictions & let the ACA move forward to fail or succeed by its own merits, the Tea Party has taken the full faith & credit of the United States of America hostage. The Kochs are not amused. They rely on a functioning government more than anyone.
