I knew some people with two dalmatians and a calico cat, and the three of them would curl up in a pile by the woodstove, the cat on top of the dogs. It was a sweet scene.

Finally. The dog is losing his “cuteness.”.Maybe they will finally realize that they need to lose the dog!

A dog and cat fight, and they are standing their own ground. I like that they both understand Clovia.

Isn’t the usual dynamic “dog wants to play, cat doesn’t, cat ends up the alpha animal?”

In real life, I mean. Seems to be how it works with my friends’ pets.

Yet more places my daughter probably won’t get to see before her internship in St. Paul ends this month. Science museum and Mall, wonder which she would put first. Tough call – when she was interning in DC, she visited large amounts of the Smithsonian museums.

Check out the Nov 6, 2006 strip, Slim is visited by his two old dogs in a dream. Named Sieg & Kleine, not sure which is which, but the current mut is a dead ringer for one of them, from the stupid face, right down to the daily drool. Hope this one joins those two soon.

I think (at least in our family) dogs and cats eventually get along if they are in the same home. In my own instances, usually the dog is just too active and has to learn to be more “calm” around the cat before the friendship works.

Shouldn’t Giacomo be thinking that in Italian?
