Ok, this is weird! I was watching a movie a few days ago, heard the term grimalkin, googled it, which led to merkin, and now here it is. I’d never heard of it before. Just musing… this would be an interesting answer on a Rorschach test.
Sadly, JT’s not alone. I recall attending a piano recital for one of our kids back when I was about 40. As I looked around the audience I noticed that almost every dad in there had thinning hair. Including me. It was the ah-ha moment. Or perhaps I should say the uh-oh moment.
My X husband was nearly bald at 29 when we were married. I just posted a recent family photo on “OneBigHappy”. My 3 sons would all have their dad’s pattern, but middle son has used something from college days on. Oldest boy is center top and the one with thick hair is at his right. Youngest son is standing right behind groom and I’m peeking from behind my daughter on the stairs.
Ah, so that’s what you were referring to. (I’ve learned all sorts of interesting new things lately.) I hope you’ll forgive my inappropriate assumption.
