P.E.’s just like that, Phoebe.

I was always disappointed that PE stopped playing games like dodgeball and parachutes after elementary school. Those were fun games, not like running around a track for an hour.

Unicorn rope tricks?

In all my years I never had to climb a rope in PE. who even does that?

I see.

So what? I knot ropes.

I got rope burn just trying to clime it let alone getting up it

When I was a school girl, we never had anything like rope climbing. No. Everything was team sports, team spirit, team work, team this, team that. And it was always humiliating to wait to be chosen to play on a team, and be either second to the last or the very last to be picked and the team I was picked to play on groaned when they realized I was with them. That is what PE has done to me. I am very bitter and unimpressed with team sports.

On the other hand, both rope climbing and team sports like baseball involved a lot of standing around doing nothing for most of the class period. So there was an upside. A whole lot better than running laps, a game the whole class could play at once.

Rope climbing is AWESOME!
