A friend of mine put a couple of live trap in his pumpkin a few years back…..didn’t solve the problem though, they found their way back home….
Squirrels in Virginia ignore the pumkins but love cracking acorns on our porches.
The squirrels here in NC don’t bother the pumpkins either. Maybe it’s because I keep them well fed with sunflower seeds.
better get at them before they ferment, don’t need to see drunk squirrels in this comic.
Up here (Alaska), the moose go after pumpkins on porches… I’d rather it were the squirrels. LOL
PA squirrels here will eat pumpkins & seeds. We usually put them out after the holiday for treats.
Chipmunks here. They ate all my decorative corn, but it was kind of fun to see, up one row and down the other, very precise, til their cheeks were dragging the ground!
That reminds me, I need to buy pumpkins for Halloween.
