Poor Boehner. If he lets a clean bill go to a vote, it will pass. But, he will quickly face a rebellion & lose the Speaker’s gavel. Why not tell his Tea Party cohorts to let the ACA move forward. The ensuing disaster will let the GOP sweep the mid-terms. They’ll have veto-proof super majorities. They can completely repeal the ACA & pass a bill enacting there vision of health care reform. Whatever that is!Of course, if the ACA is not as bad as they say, they’re “Breaking Bad”…
^^Yeah, Boehner has a really tough choice — his own personal interest or the good of the country.^Okay, okay, it’s not really a tough choice for someone who hand out tobacco lobbyists checks on the floor of the House.
“We’ve called their bluff, and they didn’t blink,” Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) told The New York Times. “At this point it would kind of strain logic to assume that going deeper into this when Republicans are likely to get the blame will benefit us more.”
Amen Tigger! How com it’s always the Reps who have to change? Why can’t the Dems change too? Of course, it’s O’s. " My way or the highway" mentality that ruins his leadership. I teach that ,and in my class, h would have an F!Yes, I’ happen to be one of the few conservative professors and proud of it.
The worse part about it is that it would have been a win for Democrats, but they are so blindly arrogant and know (or hope) that their worshippers will follow them and not give a whit about kids with cancer.

Am I missing something cryptic in the use of periodic table symbols “F” (fluorine) & “Ba” (barium)?

Another complete lie about what Reid said, from another poster who wonders why she is not properly respected.

I saw the video, because I couldn’t believe it myself. If I remember it was a CNN reporter (she was a cutie too…)
