7.5 million people tried to get on the NY Obamacare site yesterday. That’s 10% of the population of New York state. Americans are voting with their feet. Let’s hope that they get out and vote in their districts, and defeat the death party so that America can run again.

He’s depicted the Republicans with a lot more maturity than they’ve demonstrated in the last five years.

Nah, Clay hit the nail on the head. Even Boehner called holding up the government to try to overturn an existing law, just because you can’t do it by winning elections, a “tantrum.” Imagine, just imagine if the senate were as infantile as the house. “Okay, well WE won’t raise the debt ceiling either, until we get higher taxes on investment income! And no, we won’t talk to you about it for six months either!” Once you make holding America hostage a legitimate way of overturning democratic elections, it’s the craziest party that wants to hurt America most that will get its way. Now it’s the Republicans. But what if the Democrats become that insane and treasonous?

I didn’t say they were all signing on — I’m just saying that a lot of people are interested in the Affordable Care Act, and it’s going to be impossible to end the program now that people are learning how much it will help them. (The 7.5 million number for the first day was reported by the state health department, google it if you don’t believe me. If you don’t believe the state health department, I can’t help you.)

But I was wrong about it being 10% of the population — that’s more like 40% of the population. Sorry about the bad math.

“Also, to see if they can quit their jobs now that they need not work for health insurance.”You do understand that it’s still insurance provided by private companies, right? They still have to pay insurance premiums.

Now that’s funny! Too bad it’s true, though.
