    @Zen PencilsGavin-sama, having been raised as the son of two scientists, I’d have known about Feynman’s little quirks, but this one came as a real surprise. Kudos to you for finding a quote that captures Feynman’s field and personality so perfectly.

    Actually although we are all familiar with the phrase In Vino Veritas (one is more likely to reveal truths when “in the cups”).

    is more of an interesting interpretation of it (either as unfermented fruit or a lack of ambiguity). I’m surprised not to see more comments already today. I like this one.

    The Feynman story I like is when he discovered a hole in the perimeter fence at Alamogorda. He signed out, crawled in, signed out, etc. until they finally noticed he never signed in. Security was restored promptly thereafter.
