We have had all of our cats sprayed at one time or another, use baking soda, dawn dish liquid, peroxide, and warm water. We out this in a 6 gal plastic bucket, 3/4 water, a squirt of dawn, 1/2 cup baking soda, and half pint of peroxide. Works great, we soak the cats for 10 minutes, keeping their heads above the water. Use hand to wipe their face and head.
Of my four sibs and me, the firstborn is the only one who has had a problem with keeping a marriage intact (lost two of them). I married late; so I just hit 18 years; but the rest of them, including the youngest (who married early), have been married over 30. My parents, who also married late (especially for the time), would have been married for 33 years if my dad had waited a week or two to have his heart attack (like he could plan it, of course).

We don’t have skunks in the UK, but plenty of other animals spray to deter their enemies. Would milk have a similar effect to that of tomato?

poor Max. Imagine how terrible is this smell for dog’s nose 1000 times more sensitive to smells than human nose
