We simply cannot afford Obamacare. That’s why the debt ceiling debate. We’ll have to raise the debt ceiling in order to pay for it. It was predicated on the wrongheaded assumption that the ecomony would increase by 9% a year in order to pay for it. No one with a foothold in reality would ever believe that would happen.

I expected better from Ramirez. This depiction of Cruz’ efforts exposes a lack of understanding of Conservative issues and principles, IMO.-Article “Ted Cruz Extends the Buckley Rule”, 9/26/13, athttp://spectator.org written by Jeffrey Lord. Printed 6 pages.“Cruz has effectively extended what is known as “The Buckley Rule” (Wm.F.Buckley, no doubt looking down approvingly at Senator Cruz) which is (changing) from a focus on candidates to A FOCUS ON ISSUES." -Of course this is within the Republican Party. Democrats operate IMO in the nether regions of “issues”….and their presidential election Platform demonstrates it clearly, every 4 years. They don’t understand the necessity of this argument that if won by the Conservatives, may save the Elephant from extinction. The current GOP leaders in the Senate don’t get it…their go along to get along MO caused ex-GOP-voters to sit out elections and allow such Lefties as Obama to win.But Obamacare is too big a threat to our free enterprise system, to allow personalities to obscure what is at issue, and the American people need to follow the leaders who are supporting the principles that created and developed the best type of government on this planet. Period. Case closed.

OK. Explain how the ice cap GREW by 60% in 2012 compared to 2011. All the top scientists can’t. The were embarrassed to try to explain to the UN how that happened, because they couldn’t.2011 set an all time record for the least amount of ice. The 60% figure is disputed, but even so: “Around 80% of the ~100 scientists at the Bjerknes [Arctic climate science] conference thought that there would be MORE Arctic sea-ice in 2013, compared to 2012.”Why would climate scientists expect more ice if global warming is real? They knew the summertime ice loss was less severe than the year before, and having one extreme year doesn’t mean the next will be even more extreme. It’s the trend over multiple years that matters.Despite the increase compared to 2011, there was less ice than a decade ago. The trend has been going on for decades. If we see more ice on average for the next ten years, you can write a breathless assertion that the polar ice is recovering.http://www.theguardian.com/environment/climate-consensus-97-per-cent/2013/sep/09/climate-change-arctic-sea-ice-delusions

They did explain and show the cycles over the past decades. You didn’t read far enough or didn’t want to.

If I shoot enough carbon-based tax credits up a Liberal’s 4$$; would he still be presiding over a declining economy in the end?

I don’t think it’s saying Cruz is going backwards…just that he’s trying to lead the charge in a direction no one will support him in.
