Joan: That was a NICE evening.
Wally: And the house is still standing.
Max: !!
Holly: Z
Alix: Z
Wally: We had a night out. Nobody needed stitches, focus on that.
Joan: Sigh.
Holly and Alix are crock sitters! Andy should’ve been asked. If he said no, get a REAL babysitter that wouldn’t have left Lucy in a filthy diaper. Don’t pay them, Wally and Joan. I’ve known WAAAAAAY better sitters than those two.Bad sitters!
When I babysat, I tried to at least keep the house in the same state that I found it and clean up after dinner (if we had it). Maybe I was brought up differently. Sure, they may not be paid, but it should be normal to clean up in their own house.
So, she expected two young, inexperience babysitters to keep a baby and toddler clean, put them to bed, keep a teenager in line AND clean the house? Sounds like somebody has some unrealistic expectations….
This is possibly because people are attracted to others who, perhaps subconsciously, remind them of their own reflection in a mirror. There are similarities in either their features or their expressions.

A.O.K. outside, but ransacked inside (with two awake babies and two asleep baby-sitter/nieces)

And they got their baths, don’t forget that.

Yeah, kind of amazing, considering how all the people who are blood relatives look so different from each other.

The house doesn’t look any different to me

TV blasting, baby diaper needs changing, toddler highly active, and night out for relaxing meal means priceless time.

But, Andy didn’t ‘bail them out’. He’s standing there waving, completely oblivious to what’s in front of him.

AAANND the baby will be needing another bath after sitting in that stinky diaper…….
Stellagal over 10 years ago
Considering Luci is smiling in the second panel, that stinky could have happened as soon as she seen mommy walk in the door. “Mama!” Dump
And in defense of Alix and Holly, we don’t know what time it is so it could be way past their bedtime.
Anyway, nobody called 911 so alls well.

Good thing Andy is still awake. It’d be a huge problem if he fell asleep too and left two babies unattended.

Hey, I’d take it. No harm, no foul, in my book. I might insist they do the straightening up, though.
