If memory serves, C. Montgomery Burns from “The Simpsons” answers his telephone with “ahoy-hoy.” (Did Bell say, “Watston, come here. I need you” or “Ahoy, Watson. Come here; I need you” when his telephone first worked?) Also, isn’t Italian spreadable beer already like Australian Vegemite?

No wonder the Italians lost the war. Beer is for drinking. Could you imagine a German Oktoberfest where they served sandwiches?

Or “City Morgue – you stab ’em, we slab ’em!”would be useful today if caller ID reveals telemarketer or solicitor.

Local radio station had a deal going back in 60s – if you answered the phone “Pepsi Please” you’d win a prize. But if it was’t – well, red face ville!

Vegemite and spreadable not even vaguely similiar.Vegemite is made from the leftover yeast after all the beer is drained out of the vat.
