To be more specific, what free stuff are you referring to? Do you mean stuff like food stamps some need to survive because there are insufficient jobs? And there are insufficient jobs because of off-shoring to raise profits to the mega-rich and because the House refuses to raise taxes on the rich that would create jobs and provide necessary infrastructure development, etc. Perhaps you meant the bills to fight stupid wars to maintain and extend the Empire but refuse to pay the cost, and instead further reduce taxes to the rich on the myth that it will grow tax revenue. “Free stuff” to the poor being the problem is but a red herring spread by the self-serving and the greedy, and believed by the gullible who would rather look for a scape-goat than actually participate in a real solution..Or perhaps you could expand on what “free stuff” you are referring to and how that compares to the free stuff and benefits given to the rich and the well placed.
