Come on, Bob. Only good things can come of this for the GOP.

Is Ariail finally stating the right answer for handling “the right”?? I’ve never had real problems with REAL “Republicans”, or even sensible “conservatives” who actually ARE conservatives. But, this current crop of RINO’s, and yes the TEA party types ARE the “RINOs”, aren’t sensible, or even moderately SANE. That they’ve finally ticked off the few remaining real Republicans, IS interesting, and many dollars short, and years, not days, late.

The GOP ignored health care reform for the 20 out of last 28 years it was running things.Back when Clinton was trying to create a Single Payer health care system, Stuart Butler of the Heritage Foundation proposed a conservative alernative. It proposed a mandate for all Americans to buy health insurance from private insurers, with subsidies for the poor. Sound familiar? ;^) To quote Butler:“Mandate all households to obtain adequate insurance. Many states now require passengers in automobiles to wear seatbelts for their own protection. Many others require anybody driving a car to have liability insurance. But neither the federal government nor any state requires all households to protect themselves from the potentially catastrophic costs of a serious accident or illness. Under the Heritage plan, there would be such a requirement.”Butler has done an about face now that his plan has been made law. Rather than repealing, why don’t conservatives try to fix the problems they see with the ACA? Their argument that it was unconstitutional failed. Best to respond to the reality that it’s law, rather than keep failing at repeal.I can only conclude that conservatives were never serious about providing health care to the uninsured.

The big pile of dead Donkeys at the bottom will cushion their fall given that it is the Democrats willing to shut down the government totally over one program that they have a dispute with the Republicans over. It is the Democrats that are unwilling to compromise on this. How much effort has Obama put into trying to talk to Congress on the budget in the last few weeks? Do I hear ZERO?!

That is the problem here. Progressive Leftist Democrats unwilling to have anything but their way totally. But that is typical of them to act like spoiled children and throw a tantrum.

Nowhere in the Constitution does the words “healthcare” appear. Seems Princess Pelosi was right, pass it but don’t read it. BTW death panels are real. Less coverage more cost. Ask a spouse of an UPS employee. Ask a Walgreen employee, $500 a year to buy health care.

Huffington Post; hardly reliable. Doesn’t mention why I lost my health care and why my wife will lose hers. Just a Democratic Party fluff piece.

You’re just jealous because that is what the Democrats did when they passed Obamacare.

Hey not Paul Harvey, have you READ the Constitution? In the preamble, it states, “…promote the general Welfare…”Corporations are not mentioned either, but SCOTUS has decided “they” are “people”!
