And allow me to express thanks to Jenner for the update on the Doc Rat involuntary hiatus. Anyone who missed it should read the comments for Friday’s episode of Endtown.
They got everything they need to survive. One grenade, some food, and those dittos Mallard gave him.There may be a gun in the pack but not sure till they pull it.Now…….. nothing but a hike in the park.Let’s see…….three days to cross the waste to get to Hillside. Then attempt to locate the other colonies.Hope they have enough cheese.Deep City would be close. It was closer to the Missile site.Question will be is it in Google Maps?Road signs may not be accurate.Given Topsiders love for mischief.Of course if all else fails and they are close to capture.The final embrace with the grenade to their hearts.Holly will finally get the “ring” she wants.And she can introduce the new daddy to her baby when they meet on the other side.
I hope someone gave them the manual on care and feeding of dittos. Kind of risky to place such high reliance on technology that they don’t understand…at all. This is the second time I’ve noticed that Wally’s face in profile (panel 3) seems less “cartoony” than most other characters’.
hmm, now where do the rest come in. All epic quests must have a certain number of people in them. I just can’t remember how many. (goes to refer to his book of rules by J. Chalker)
There is just one problem with a grenade. All the flat surface up top you could run away from it if it was tossed. I don’t think Topsiders would be much afraid of it if you threatened them with. Look at their fears. Death is a small acceptable choice to the others they face like mutations. Punishments for insubordination, poor job performance, lack of Topsider moral, compassion, mercy. Look at what Flask went through. All she did was want Love and a Life. Obviously they are capable of inflicting a lot of pain. If I were Wally…..the grenade would be for him and Holly. Can’t risk being shot by their guns and dusted. They may set for stun.
Late Monday. I miss being first or in the top commenters.We remember it going down on one of the first . Why isn’t the hollow “gun” to ganged up by dust. /Blow it out before action.or just let the dust go down and clutter. Who does the house work?Blessed Be
Aww, I’m really late. Someone mentioned this might be a trick, last Thursday or Friday. Security would know where there cameras were, and maybe even how to edit their dire ction and complicity edited out, leaving them a perfect excuse for stranding Holly and Wally, if the tube brings them up in a TopSiders construction project.And just how sentient was the Good Airship Opabinia Queen? Marx mentioned string theory, which I am blissfully ignorant of the physics principles pertaining to, but well acquainted with management string theory, and used the structure of management string theory(rio, 1978) to advance quantitative models for finance, investments and development. AFAIK, there is a probability the airship will have popped into this reality just in time to pick up her last captain.We all know something has to happen. Two questions: 1) does holly ever change her clothes? Why wear her work uniform if shes leaving work forever?2) why is this strip called “Endtown” when the characters are always leaving it?
