Thank goodness we’re off the liberal political preaching for a change. I had just about given up on this strip.

Mike should be somewhere just over sixty years old at this point, so yeah, retirement soon. Kim on the other hand is more than 20 years his junior and probably still quite active at work.I think it has been established that their business was successful enough that they should be able to retire any time they like.

Speaking as a grandparent, of Course you move to be closer! But as a parent, AAAAHHHH!!

I love the people that say they had the strip, or something about it, but continue to read it anyway. And then continue to say ’it’s changed!’ with a straight face! Makes me laugh every time!

This is the first test of the rest of your life. When my parents were about to marry, my grandfather tried to give them a house next to his own. They refused. He gave them one across town.

Ditto. I was always kind of annoyed that they claimed “Everyone” Loved Raymond without ever asking me. I certainly don’t.

This could be a great opportunity. Not everyone has built in babysitters and I imagine they will help with expenses, which will be enormous. Movin on up! She needs to find the positive here. Her folks are not that bad. I think DT Pi predicted that they would help Alex and Toggle out about a year ago, interestingly.

I didn’t like the show Everyone Loves Raymond, but thought the stand up act of Ray Romano was very funny.

Strip is like Foxtrot now. Reruns during the week and a new one on Sunday.

This announcement makes me happy for the future of the strip.

As Grandparents, I wish they would learn how to hold those babies’ heads!

I don’t watch sitcoms (Seinfeld the exception) but I was even more off Ray when I saw what a rightwinger the actress is who played his wife.

I love that they bought the condo and am looking forward to a lot of time with the grandsons.

I thought Leo and Alex lived in a trailer.

Then, why not try something down the Peninsula; San Mateo, Redwood City, Palo Alto; or, have I been away from there too long?

It would have been nice if they’d mentioned it earlier, or even asked if it was ok.

Think of them as Semi-live-in-babysitters.

In real life, whenever people have a baby, the second or third thing anyone asks is “What’s the name?”. In comics and on TV, babies’ names are often ignored, as if they are irrelevant. No big deal, but it is something that has bugged me for years.
