Will we learn why and how MM/Vista reappeared?

I just want to say that some folks here were complaining that the story arcs were too short and now some are saying that the story isn’t moving fast enough. Like Rick Nelson said in that song “You can’t please everyone, so you gotta please yourself.”

Is Diet Smith a giant now, or is Mysta a fairy?

Is there a support group for obsessing over the Moon Maid story? If so, sign me up. 2:30AM E S.T. and I roll over in bed and rather than go back to sleep, I grab my smart phone to see today’s Moon Maid installment!!

As I figured, the Space Coupe has been hovering just above the ground since it got there. You really wouldn’t want to set it down right on the ground in a muddy field in the pouring rain because it would get covered in mud which would wreck the aerodynamics of it. I realize that there was a view of it far off in the distance that looked like it was sitting right on the ground, but it was dark and there was a big shadow under it, so I’m giving that the benefit of the doubt that it wasn’t actually touching the ground.

“Flash is gonna wonder why the ship suddenly got a “mind of its own” when Diet starts fiddling with that remote.”I’m tracking with you, Gweedo! Perhaps a visual hint today that Diet has a dark motive behind the “quick adjustment” to his remote control? Compare these two scenes:

When we last saw Dick’s hat, he was holding it on his head. If he’s not careful, IT will drift off. Let’s hope it’s in one of his hands! SAVE THE HAT!!!

Any chance they can kill off Mumbles? I get a headache trying to read his speech balloons…

“Daddy” Diet is trying to “make it all better” for the alleged Moon Maid, but why does he need to take her “back”—and, to where?I think he will realize there is a problem aboard the Space Coupe and should be able to control it according to Story Continuity, although maybe some pretext will be brought forward to justify an escape by the arch-baddies. But what about the rest of the two crews, and the sniper (or did he give up on his job long ago?), and the Wheatons, and the MCU? There should, I would think, still be a lot of lead flying….

NightShade09: Curious comment you make. Think it’s just Moon Maid that sets him off? You might be right on that one. I remember reading some of his comments during the Mordred story and saw nothing of the behavior he’s exhibited during this story…

Moon Maid, I Love You…….

“willy, all you did was “rehash” your first theory… i see nothing new in your post whatsoever.”Timmy, I wish you would read things a little more carefully and thoughtfully before simply reacting.The point was not simply to note the similarity of poses, positioning, mood, and costume. (Yes, I hashed through all that before.) Rather, the point is that the scene has now been shown repeatedly (2 more times today) — just as was done in the original story that’s apparently being aped (where the same pose was shown several times over a period of days). That is what is new.It’s as though Joe and Mike are reinforcing the visual connection between the two characters, in case we missed the significance of the single panel on Monday.

It’s deduction, which is to say it’s a reasoned conclusion based on an analysis of the obervable evidence..And, without agreeing with or endorsing it, I have to say it’s a fairly well-reasoned argument.

I’m crazy for this story. The art, the intrigue, the science fantasy, the intrigue about Mysta’s identity, it’s so addictive I never want it to end. I never thought it possible to enjoy a daily comic strip as much as I’m enjoying Dick Tracy. Thanks to Team Tracy for providing us such great entertainment!

Thanks to the absolute lack of being able to “research” something in Go Comics, I will say that I have my stories mixed up – okay, so it wasn’t the Mordred story – but it was you who called out another troll in those days that I was reading whatever story that was..And I marveled at what appeared to be the complete difference between what you were doing then as opposed to what you have done lately..That’s all I wanted to say.

Theories are proven, this is a hypothesis as is mine that Mysta is a regenerated corpse of Moon Maid.________________________

I suggested this theory some time ago and still believe it will pan out. However, I will admit that Willy’s theory is very well reasoned.

I think you both have a tendency to be trolls. However, SDM, I believe that you have a sense of humor about it whereas Tsull2121 is sometimes very vindictive in his posts. I also agree with Cheapskate0 that LT contradicts himself constantly. I simply ignore his daily criticisms. SDM, sometimes your posts irritate me and sometimes I laugh. To troll or not to troll…

I don’t consider tsull a real troll; he’s more like a replicant. (Sorry, couldn’t resist).But he’s sure acting like one during this story.I’m not too upset, though. We all have stories we like more than others, and this one has clearly irritated him.(I’m not holding it against him. I made some ill-considered comments about the Jumbler story, which I aplologized for and regret.)

All I am going to say is that the fun is just starting. You all are in for the ride of your lives. Just hang on!

As much as certain readers enjoy looking at Mysta, I don’t think anyone is having trouble sleeping while wishing for another glimpse of her. That being said, many of us are enthralled by the plot and anxiously awaiting what happens next.

Looking again at what’s happening today, Diet wants to get Mysta back to Smith Industries right away, apparently, and he seems most concerned that the Space Coupe is the fastest and safest way to get there.

I have a serious question to ask you. You seem to know quite a bit about the backstory concerning Ricky Nelson’s “Garden Party”. I think I heard the same general thing, but here’s one thing I never could understand:As best as I can remember, the lyrics say “If memories are all I sing, I’d rather drive a truck” – which would go perfectly with your explanation of what the song is all about. BUT, there is also the line “I played them all the old songs, I thought that’s why they came”. That seems to be a directly opposite idea, and every time I heard the song, I was confused. Did the crowd boo because of oldies, or because of new material? It’s always puzzled me.
