Good idea, Phoebe. Formalities first.

I hope this isn’t one of those and “now no one remembers you have a unicorn” plots I would hate to see Max, Mom, Dad, Dakota, Sue, forget they all met Marigold before. That’s kind of the opposite of character development. Some thing I always loved about the story was moving forward.

Oh wait just re-read that, shes inside the shield, so now shes just boring. Maybe you should ho mildly interesting instead? What if her parents find her boring and stop caring about her? So maybe its not the memory loss thing?

“Marigold – did you have to fix the problem BEFORE I ran into Dakota?”

Looks like everything is back to normal… almost.

I am really loving the glimpses into Phoebe’s social life lately!

Phoebe’s problem is that she is the only human with a unicorn for a friend. No one else can relate. I only socialize with other horse people, which guarantees we always have something in common and always have a topic of conversation (we just can’t stop talking about horses) .

At least he’s your friend Phoebe.

Max is caught in drab mode his self. Most kids haven’t had the brutal honesty beaten out of them by age-9..Q: Do these pants make me look fat?A adult: Why do you ask?A kid: As a baggy knee elephant..Q: Do you like me?A adult: What’s not to like?A kid: Ewww No! / Yes.

I think Max already thinks Phoebe is awesome, unicorn or no unicorn.
