    Some grandnephew of Carmen he is. (If it was lengua soup, would we call it a good thing the soup boiled over because some of Baldo’s family doesn’t like lengua?)

    This is typical for a boy, you have to give them exact instructions. For example: ‘Baldo, please watch this pot, from inside the kitchen, and if it starts to boil over, please turn down the heat to number 3 and then come get me immediately’. After I had done this type of thing with my son, he had gotten very mad and told me that I don’t have to do that that he understood what I meant. I asked him if he understood the first time why didn’t he do it. " I don’t know".

    I THINK maybe the point is he probably TEXTED her that the pot was boiling over. That’s why he’s checking his phone to see when he sent the text. This young generation doesn’t practice verbal communication; everything is done electronically. It’s a shame!
