Despite the recent beating of the war drum, that greatly upset me about Obama, appearing to go against everything he’s stood for most of his life, I’m starting to see a lot more wisdom behind it.
NOT only is Obama NOT actually standing out there alone, he’s getting more world leaders on board to take action to “settle things down”.
I was also “upset” that the U.S. went along with NATO to provide air support in North African actions, but for a change we DID remain just “support”, without troops on the ground which shows even Syria could well work out without our sending troops, and as things may be going, even cruise missiles! Let’s hope so!
and before the “Benghazi brigade” chimes in, read the full story written by Burton and Katz I’ve cited elsewhere and you can “google” about the attack in Benghazi, and please note, yes, we DID lose four people because security, from the very beginning wasn’t what an official EMBASSY would have, BUT we also RESCUED THIRTY TWO PEOPLE from the mission!!
