Somebody somewhere made every part and every piece of this faucet. The metal came from ore dug out of the ground. It was refined and worked. Then it was shipped to where it was made in two parts. Imagine all the machines, trucks, ships and work hours of the people involved! In the engineering, designing, shaping, assembly and delivery of this one faucet Crowds of people employed! But we haven't mentioned the rubber and plastic parts, the salespeople, store employees, the box company that designed and printed the packaging or even the plumber who hooked it up. And there's a similar story about every fiddly little piece of this house! Now do you understand? Sorry. The point you were making sort of got lost... If you feel like paying all those people all over again, then hit my faucet with a hammer one... More... Time...

She forgot the designers. There are people who spends thousands of hours, designing “the perfect faucet” … which is never quite what I want in my kitchen.
