    Right…nothing hurts worse than improved coverage at lower cost. BTW…Obamacare was originally a Republican creation. Understand…don’t react.

    I was just informed that my retiree health plan will be abandoned by my company (IBM), due to unsustainable costs, to something called an “exchange”. Even well capitalized companies are bailing out thanks to this terrible legislation. Thanks for sucking me into your Socialist agenda Mr. Hope and Change. More accurately, Hype and Lies Obama

    “And, the thing we do NOT need is the never ending slurs and insults from the conservative – extremists”.Yeah, because YOU and other Libs have NEVER called conservatives: Racists, haters, cons, republitards, etc, or anything of the like…..right??? You’re SO squeaky clean!

    Republicans/Fox “news” viewers don’t believe the American health care system should be improved. Like Mitch McConnell, they believe that the American health care system is the best in the world and needs no improvement at all.-You know, my health care is just fine.

    “Social conscience” with regard to health care, and a functioning single payer system, which works very well in many countries, doesn’t automatically mean “socialized medicine”. Such a plan has been proposed, and rejected by “conservatives” controlling the vote, even while in the minority.

    Simple fact, the ACA IS brining costs down, and could do better, if BOTH parties weren’t defending the profits of the “health care industries”, of various factions.

    Negotiating prices, instead of paying what the “market will bear”, DOES bring costs down, and could be doing much better! Hmm, wonder how many doctors make as much as the lobbyists for the industry?? I’d bet, none, unless they’re lobbyists themselves!

    @Zuhlamon

    I seem to remember on June 25, 2009 Obama told Jane Sturm that her 100 year old mother could just take a pain pill rather than get a pacemaker. IF I’m not mistaken, that “Let them die” statement came from your DEM President!

    There is no way everyone will be able to get healthcare much less pay for the TAX penalty. There is no way it can sustain itself. It will collapse like a house of cards, THEN what?I’ve never said healthcare doesn’t need an improvement. But the way Obamacare plans to do it will just make things worse! If it were so good why are SO many unions, corporations, and politicians, etc seeking exemptions from it???

    “……Perhaps you could quote Mitch and Republican/Fox viewers where they said they don’t believe American healthcare system should be improved…..”.I have heard the same ridiculous claims coming from the right.

    “…… I can tell you why Germany has affordable healthcare: US taxpayers.We helped build that…..”.America was occupying Germany in 1883 when Chancellor Bismarck implemented the world’s first national health care system? I did not know that!

    “……. Do you live in Canada or something? They have expensive and horrible healthcare….”.Canada – Administration costs in universal single-payer health care system about 3%. U.S. for-profit system about 20%, and 40 million or so are not covered. Canada per capita health care costs about 50% to 60% of the U.S. Life expectancy in Canada higher than in the U.S. In fact, life expectancy in the U.S. is worst of the developed countries. Why don’t you research before you spout?

    You can be sure that Clinton is getting his. Must be a trade off for Omamba to support the cow in a pant suit.

    “……….Where did I say Chancellor Bismarck implemented the world’s first healthcare system in 1883?……”.You didn’t. You missed the point. Your question makes no sense.

    “…….Are you equating life expectancy to healthcare coverage?? Or quality of healthcare??…..”.Both.

    “……How would you feel if President Obama told you you had to let your 100 year old Grandparent die? This is indeed The ‘Death Panel’……”.If only medical treatment was that certain and that benign. At 100 years old, surgery might be the worst thing you could do for the patient. But, in a for-profit system, surgery will make the treatment facility the most money. Maximum profit does not equate to optimal health care.

    “……So, you want to let the elderly die instead of having health care they need to stay alive?…..”.The sad reality is that eventually the best health care system fails us – and we die.
