In India, it’s usually being ‘sanctioned’ personal loans. I generally hang up. My friend always thanks them profusely and asks them to send the money right over. When the excited telecaller asks for documents, he always has this line: “But, if it is already sanctioned, why do you need further documents? I will go to court now, if you don’t send me my money!”
