It would be an interesting experiment to publish an entire comic book with completely inappropriate sound effects, just to find out how many people actually read the sound effects.Strangely, the sound effects seem to be the thing that comic book detractors pay the most attention to, while comic book fans hardly notice them at all, like the background music on a TV show.

How about this guy? He did play Batman once, and was better than any of the Hollywood versions, in my opinion.
