Some men just don’t think they should have to DO that (my X-husband for instance); we raised 4 kids in the 16 years married and he never did that once (I did get a breakout once on my hands from cloth diapers and all the other little duds I washed.

My parents never sat my kids and my in-laws seldom. I never lived near any grandkids when they were infants (visited the first one after he was born in their tiny apt. in California); they now live in Boulder and the boys both finished 4 years of college. 2 grandkids lived in Apache Junction when I moved here, so I got to read to them often. I also visited the 2 in Boulder when they were toddlers and did cooking/crafts in their kitchen. My daughter often visited with hers (one from each of the first 2 husbands). Baby is 11 now so I think that’s all.

I am surprise that she even bothers to tell him . . . a man never moves as fast as when a smelly diaper enters the room.
