That’s why I’m careful to buy organic chocolate (and with % of cocoa clearly marked). I’ve had to explain to family that if it is not declared they are ashamed of it (too little to count).
I totally agree that a good glass of chocolate is lovely. Before this diet we were making it with Whole foods whole organic milk also. Right now I use the same unsweetened almond milk that I otherwise have with meals (and a few drops of stevia). If you don’t mix stuff yourself, you don’t really know what’s in it
(I need to buy broccoli today for my next batch of pasta sauce).

Same reaction when someone who is horrible at mixing alcohol drinks puts a tad too much rum or vodka or what-have-you in with soda.
