It is time for the yearly migration of the snow birds . . . wink, wink! ;-)

My parents were snowbirds for about 10 years. They couldn’t afford to keep doing it, and my mother’s health isn’t the greatest, however, so they decided to stay up in New England. (The doctors my mother saw down there were quacks to the nth degree.)

Down WHERE?

Winter birds are arriving here. Snow geese and Tundra Swans in the thousands. Very cool. The White Crowned Sparrows, and many other small birds in my back yard make winter go by more pleasantly.

The detours are usually the best part of the trip, right Vicki?

Maybe it just seems longer.

Nah, you don’t live longer. Coping with the cold just makes it seem longer. :-)

They have to fly. They tried to hitchhike but they don’t have any thumbs.
