Man, Lucy was a real religious zealot back then.

So, did Snoopy bite Lucy in the leg between the third and fourth panels?

My dog always managed to sleep on my leg and try to bite the sun.

Any street mutt knows more about God than Lucy ever will. You want to learn about unconditional love and acceptance, adopt a dog.

Lucy was the Ying to Charlie’s Yang. She made us love him, because she was so mean to him. Schultz knew this.

It’s not rude to belittle someone else’s tragedy? I’m with legaleagle48. At the very least she should listen to Linus.

She’s not going to learn anything there.

Reminds of another strip. Charlie was a the psychiatric booth and tells Lucy that he’s been having a lot of hardships lately. She says that’s good because it builds character and prepares him for things in his later life. He ask what things and she says more adversity.

She’s been listening too much to Linus. He would’ve been proud. lol

Nope. His insurance got canceled because he didn’t keep up his payments on the premiums. Apparently, insurance companies don’t accept payment in dog food.

I’m waiting for his doghouse to fall down from him laying on top of it. Surely, what’s left of it isn’t that strong.

What’s up with Snoopy’s facial expression in the second panel?

If dogs were born to bite people on the leg and lay in the sun, how come Snoopy’s only accomplished one of those tasks?

That which does not kill me, makes me stronger.

Putting up with Lucy on a daily basis should make him the strongest pup in the world.

Theology teaches that dogs don’t have a soul, so the rules don’t apply to dogs.

Snoopy, just bite Lucy and get it over with.

So each of us should seek out and embrace tragedy to become a better person. I don’t think so Lucy. And we should feel guilty our whole life because some authority says we have sinned? And we should not use our brains because we might come up with something not authorized by holy writ? There are still some bugs to be gotten out of “Theology” Lucy..

That’s why I hate dogs, they’re all evil and no good, but I like Snoopy.

Some people, due to circumstance, were born to suffer.Others lead a charmed life and that’s just how it goes.Deserving has nothing to do with it..

wonder when Charlie and Snoopy start looking at plans for his new house and Lucy says isn’t it a bit much he’s just a dog and Snoopy kicks her in the butt I guess it’ll be Wednesday he really gave it to her, eh????!!!!

She does seem to be lacking in the Compassion Department…
