Gweedo you jknow, it’s funny. Joe got banned and look at what some folks get away with these days? My “the times, they do change”. I haven’t heard from him for a while. I know he has health issues, I hope he is okay.

I didn’t know Andy drank Port. Personally I prefer a nice Bordeaux.

Friday is doing well. Aunty is real into the protocols of good manners ‘n’ such. The envelope had happy face stickers on it. The windows come around the 15th of Sept., or sooner if we get lucky, usually only a week and a half. We’re not the only ones getting glass on before winter. -I need to get pics of the three baby rabbits living under the shrubbery out front. I have been sitting out with them for about three or four days now. This morning I was able to ‘one finger’ pet them. They are very small and delicate and have all their fur. One is especially forward, with the other two more reserved. I hope to be able to pick them up before long….. baby steps for now tho’.See ya Saturday.

Awwwwwwww! I bet those baby rabbits are gorgeous! Great, You’ve set me away now. LOL.

So one of them is confident and outgoing while the other two like to shy away? I don’t think I’ve held a rabbit before. I would love to though. I wouldn’t let it go!

Glad you have an idea when your new windows might arrive. Seems like everybody else around your way is copying you.

I think it’s disgusting. I would never ever eat a rabbit and I despise those people who do. Also those who wear fur coats made out of real rabbit fur.

My next door neighbours have a grey rabbit called Charlie (Girl) and when they went on holiday I fed her. I gave her lettuce leaves and carrots and other things she liked. I loved seeing her little nose twitching.I’m not sure if they’ve still got her or not. I’m just guessing they have.

@Number ThreeMy niece used to have a pet rabbit. Her father always likes to hunt for squirrels and he used to hunt for rabbits but he was strictly forbidden to do that anymore once they got the rabbit. I have to admit that I’ve eaten rabbits a few times in my life (maybe five total?) But of course I obeyed my niece’s restriction, too. So even though her rabbit has gone to the great hutch in the sky, none of us even think about eating rabbits anymore. Although I should point out that even though it’s true that Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd gave a bad name to rabbit-eaters, Bugs Bunny gave a bad name to rabbits!

Benny Hill had a sketch once about a restaurant owner and his waiter at the labor arbitrator. The waiter: “He sells rabbit stew. That’s a good one, that is! That stew has horseflesh in it!” The arbitrator: “Is that true”? Benny: “Well, yes, kind of, half and half.” The arbitrator: “Half and half?” Benny: “One horse, one rabbit.”

I remember a Benny Hill sketch where Benny and a stranger are standing next to each other at a bar. Benny picks up the stranger’s beer and gulps it down. The stranger says, “Hey, you just drank my beer.” Where upon Benny says, “Then this one must be mine.” and gulps down his own beer.
