Ah the Jewish mother, they always give you a free guilt trip, even if you don’t feel like leaving your home!!

Lila is Catholic.

I once very surprised to discover that the wife of Jewish associate was Catholic, and I had to blurt out that “but you do Jewish Mother so well!”

Lila’s mother is Jewish, father Catholic. They decided to raise her in the fathers religion and not in the mothers

I grew up in Queens, NY and this is NOT an uncommon arrangement. After all, as a friend expleined it to me in 3rd Grade “Catholic is just Jewish plus Jesus and the Pope.”

Lila’s Catholic? I didn’t know. Next you’re gonna tell me Boyd is gay!

My mom was/is like this. If she didn’t hear from my sister, she always thought the worst! And we’re not Jewish. It’s just a mother thing, I guess! :/

JWF has not stopped in an left a note to all of us in a long time. I to miss him so much. He’s one fine man!

My hubby and I were prepared to go help out at a fundraiser and his mother said: “Go ahead and have a good time. If something happens to me, I’ll just call an ambulance.”
