They wanted to join them together and make one huge ball…but alas, never the twine shall meet.

Not a pun today, more of a philosophical point. If it’s an EXACT replica, and it is also located in Kansas, what then? (The old joke: “I have George Washington’s hatchet that he used to cut down the cherry tree. Of course, it’s had three handles and four blades since ol’ George had it……”)

Dan! I didn’t realise till I clicked Alexi’s link that you meant “The supposedly largest ball of twine in the whole world, which is in Kansas.”

It looks like you mean the largest one in Kansas… which is not much of a distinction…. so I wondered about its fame.

(Not that the largest in the world is any Taj Mahal, either…. but still…. )
