I’m sorry that while Ted may be left leaning, he thinks for himself.

Editorial cartooning is an inherently negative medium. I have read tens of thousands of political cartoons. I have never encountered one that was positive — one that praised someone or something (never mind whether or not they deserved the praise) that wasn’t horrible.

The purpose of an editorial cartoon is to scream on the page, or screen, to wake up a complacent populace to injustice. It’s true, if injustice went away, I’d be out of work. Which would really be great.

We don’t mind that you’re critical, we do mind when you lose touch with reality.

“He tells it as he sees it. You did not have a problem with him being critical of Bush 43 for 8 years, no, you agreed with him.I admire Ted, a Liberal Political Cartoonist who is not afraid to criticize a Democrat President.”I appreciate that Rall’s ability to criticize anyone & everyone.. This is nothing new. He invented “Meet the New Bush, Same as the Old Bush” in 1993:

Sheesh, RV. I generally find your posts good reading, but Rall is a social/political critic, not a politician. I don’t always agree with him & he still has the ability to offend. I think on the whole, that’s a good thing. Jonathon Swift wasn’t offering solutions either.“It’s not that I disagree with what you say, but it’s that I don’t think saying it helps.”So, we shouldn’t talk about the bad things? Even when there is nothing that can be done, I’d rather be aware than asleep.

nurf-nurf.That was one long, negative rant for a guy complaining about Rall’s negativity!Like I said RV, I generally appreciate your posts, but I have no clue what you are trying to achieve.

Actually it was a quasi compliment to Rall.Believe me, I’m no fan of the government reading every email AND probably every post on this site.
