Let’s not forget two black guys looking “suspicious” who were shot in the back and killed by a guy “protecting” his neighborhood by shooting them in the back, while they were walking away in his NEIGHBOR’S FRONT YARD, with no charges filed. That was Texas.
“Stand your ground”, is just a license to kill when it goes beyond protecting your own home.
