Is there even a grain of truth between those lies?

\Just between the lies or does that include the ‘double talk’ when they talk for a half an hour and never ‘say’ anything. I getting to feel that politicians are worse than the criminals we have locked up in prison at least they admit they did it to ‘line their pockets’. Politicians steal and lie to us and tell us that they do it for the ‘public good’ or the ‘good of the country. I wish we had ’initiative and referendum’ on a national level that was binding so we could get rid of the crooks that we have in the Capitol Building in Washington! ! !

Heck, the news media will invent their own lies if they feel that it is necessary.

@AshburnStadium, what a farce that “dump the pump” movement was! All the idiotic Bucks County voters succeeded in doing was block the part of the project that actually would have helped people in Bucks County. The contract with PECO was legally binding, and the water continues to flow down the Perkiomen. Where, for the sake of those unfamilair, it has made no noticable difference to the stream. Nor has it made any difference to the Delaware. But for the obvious presence of the Bradshaw reservoir, you would never know the project existed.

@ GROG!:Let’s not forget ex-NY Gov Spitzer, most of Chicago pols, ALL of Detroit’ best and Boston’s worst. I’d pick on Omnius more, but I have to feel sorry for a rented donkey (dem symbol) with blinders on. (so they can only see the furrow ahead of them.)

Here in Canada we’re developing specialists — the MP’s lie and the Senators steal!

Sanford, Vitter Gingrich, etc. Neither side has a lock on ethics, but the elephants have bigger blinders, i.e. “family values.” As for cover and conceal: Iraqi oil will pay for the war, they’ll greet us with chocolates and roses, yellowcake from Niger, there is no proof of Sunni/Shia antipathy AND Mission Accomplished!
