Word of the day is farcical.

Pro wrestlers have to practice for years to take the lumps and falls they take. Realistically, Gil would be killing himself!! Thank goodness this isn’t reality!

After six weeks covering two days, we’ve had a few days covering two weeks. Maybe football will start on time after all.

With the choir and band, those kids are going to feel like they’re at a school assembly.

This is way more exciting than golf camp! Bring it on!

They get the gym free and charge to get in. Gil is going to pocket some serious cash for his efforts.

The ring is not soft. It’s a light foam pad over plywood and steel. Definitely not soft!

Pat Murray is right. I have been in a ring and I recall it hurt like hell. Beau will get the crap kicked out of him and emerge victorious. Does the Beau Dandy ensemble include a top hat and cane?

Looks like alot of Milford High students can t wait to see Gil get the beating of his life.

I guess there’s not much going on in Milford in the summer.

correct, Ras. the question ‘are you going tonight’ is pretty vague. but evidently this sad event is the only possible meaning for Milford teens.

Who’s tucking the razors in their wristbands? Beau or The Herk? Will this be a ladders, tables, and chairs match? A Texas Death Match?

Good thing Milford just happens to have access to a wrestling ring. And nothing fires up a wrestling crowd better than having a choir belt out a few tunes.

You are assuming that there is a good cause, that has not been indicated in the storyline yet.

I’m confused… is that a mountain in the background, a strangely shaped tree, or a shadow? I see trees up top, but I did not know Milford was a hilly town. Better than the Beach Boys… three girls for every boy!

Doesn’t Milford have a real wrestling team?

2013….“The Lost Summer”….easily the most ludicrous “plot” I have seen in the last 4 years.

And I say again….doesn’t Gil have a “job” at Milford CC to attend to? Does the membership really accept a first year one-armed instructor as head of the youth program?
