    I used to work for a cardiologist who often gave patients a “prescription” for a local animal shelter. “You can ignore an exercise machine, but you can’t ignore a dog. You will save his life and he will save yours.”

    That’s the way most of my animals came to me … I once went looking for a Border Collie and was ambushed by an Afghan Hound .. rotfl!

    Certainly the pets are keeping my husband and I mobile, which is the first step to continued fitness. Certainly petting them is a better control for HBP than chemicals … but ours just know that if they work hard enough, they can teach us to levitate. No noticeable progress on the levitation, but our reflexes are in fine shape! rotfl!
