    OOOOOPS! I was thinking Carmen..Carmen Miranda, GCIH was a Portuguese-born Brazilian samba singer, dancer, Broadway actress, and film star who was popular in the 1940s and 1950s. She passed away August 5, 1955.

    Lautrec liked to paint mostly very sad folks with dissipated lives in night club, circus and brothel of his day. Because of childhood injury he was not accepted by his peers and was comfortable with those of lower classes.
