No the floor. I was back there 6 weeks later when my replacement was seconded to another dept and a hole had opened up, but I didnt last much longer (my choice) and have been at my new job coming up 30 years…
Seems I remember hearing the term fired came from taking the employee’s desk outside … and setting it on fire. That’s what I heard…
