Good morning, Vagabonds. I guess we’re not going to have a new strip today. My kitchen was painted yesterday. My roommate’s mother didn’t like the paint job, but I know that NY landlords n=rarely use good quality paint and the supers who do the painting are not Leonardo da Vincis. It’s customary for the landlord to supply of-white paint. Seventeen years ago I bought my own paint ($300 worth) and had all 4 rooms, foyer, both bath rooms and hallway pained. Except for the heavily-used bathrooms and kitchen, the paint is still holding up. I often wipe the walls to clean them, something I can’t do with cheap paint. I also walk around my home without touching walls and only touch the doorknob itself rather than the door. In yesterday’s paint job, I’m very happy that the super painted the wall molding with blue paint that my roommate’s mother had supplied – it really sets it off nicely.
Morning, Vagabonds. GoComics still isn’t online at 6:15 am Central.A friend called yesterday morning and asked me to play golf with him, so I didn’t get to power wash the driveway yesterday like I wanted. Shoot. Darn.
