Time to drop that tired old saw. Because some of the plutocrats came from ‘our’ generation is no reason to develop a guilt complex. There are only a few of them, from every generation. We dropped the ball when we let them ride over us roughshod, yes, but there is no ‘our’ generation about it.
This is the same old narrow view. As if the world were in fine shape before. It isn’t this generation, and it wasn’t the one before, or before that. And each generation is told it’s up to them to fix things. But how could the Perfesser be so deluded?
